There have been some concerns that the manager doesn't write fishing trip reports, and that the assistant manager is being subjected to some kind of power harassment or moral harassment, so to dispel these concerns, I, the manager, have taken up my pen this time!! I'm not very good at writing, so this may be the first and last time I write a fishing trip report, but please bear with me until the end lol
Tuesday is the long-awaited fishing day! This week,Uratanzawa Mountain Stream Fishing Spot(hereinafter referred to as Uratan)"!
Today, as usual, I dropped my kids off at school at 8am before setting off, so I headed west on the Chuo Expressway, getting stuck in heavy traffic in Tokyo!
LocationSagamihara CityThe valley is located deep in the mountains, and if you take the Chuo Expressway, you can get off at Sagamiko IC and drive on the local road for about 40 minutes to reach it.
This route was a winding mountain road, so the assistant manager complained of car sickness just before we arrived.
I drove as hard as I could, but I still felt a bit guilty.
In fact, there is a route that starts from Sagamihara IC on the Ken-O Expressway, so if you are traveling with someone who is prone to car sickness, we recommend choosing this route.
After getting stuck in traffic, stopping at a convenience store, getting hungry and stopping at Gusto in Sagamiko, and then getting back by car, we ended up arriving at 11:30am!!
I decided to buy an afternoon ticket and enter!!
The mistake I always feel is that we don't take pictures before fishing because we're excited to cast the first cast.
Today was a great day to go fishing as the mountains started to turn red and we could feel the autumn coming!!

There are three reasons why we love this fishing spot.
1. An overwhelmingly clear pond! I have visited quite a few managed fishing ponds, but I think this is the clearest one (according to t-Route).
②An overwhelming density of fish!

When I visited him before, he muttered, "It's boring these days because only certain animals like deer and wild boars appear, so maybe it'll be a lion or something" lol

Our timing is always bad, so we've visited on our days off twice in a row ('Д')

Uratan fishes in a section of the stream that is divided into about 15 sections from upstream.
Since today was a weekday, we were able to fish in a situation where each group had their own section reserved for them.

We'll get started right away, and as of 12 o'clock it seems like there are still a few fish being caught, but it seems to be a bit calm.
My first move was the recently releasedt-Route Original Color Hunt G1.0g "Area: Blue Seca"is!
This is a really excellent color for searching in clear water, and it's my favorite because it's not too strong and not too weak, allowing you to fish in the perfect range!
Suddenly I got the answer right!
It's not a huge catch, but I've managed to catch one fish every two casts.

This one also brings in about one fish every two casts, and you get strong, good bites.
The Kotobuki (Uracha) color was designed by Canta to celebrate the first anniversary of t-Route, and it's a color that I'm very fond of, so catching one with it makes the joy of catching 50% more! However, faithfully following the teachings of my master, I move on with a heavy heart!!
Meanwhile, the assistant manager seems to be catching one fish with each cast using the original color WAH Uguisu Mochi.
Next time, sameHunt G1.0g Reaction KBI cast it, but after catching two fish one after another, I couldn't keep going!
The Reaction KB is a perfect match for clear water, and its explosive color makes it impossible to stop once it catches fire, but I think the trout aren't in the mood for that, so I move on positively to the next thing.
Meanwhile, the assistant manager seems to be catching one fish with each cast using WAH's Uguisu Mochi.
It was my first fishing trip in a week and I was having so much fun that I completely ignored my teacher's advice lol
I caught so many fish that I switched to a crank tackle and threw the original color WAH Sakuramochi! ...Wow!! I caught a lot of fish ^^

I caught about five fish in a row, but then the bite suddenly slowed down and I was only able to catch about one fish every three casts.

This is a great bait and you can catch a lot of fish with every cast.
This color is very effective when there are active fish mixed in with the remaining fish.
When I passed it over a carpet of trout, only the active fish reacted like crazy and took the bait firmly.

I also threw the Forest Spoon original color and caught 27 fish in about an hour of fishing!
Uratan's situation was actually very good, so I had the illusion that I was getting better at fishing lol
After taking a short break, it was 2:30. I realized that the catch I had just caught was just an illusion.
No matter what I throw at it, it won't last.

Among them was a beautiful rainbow trout, staying downstream with its mouth agape.
It looked to me like it was eagerly waiting for the lure, so I decided to take a look at it as it passed in front of me.

On the sixth cast, the trout passed in front of me, grazed my tail, and then moved forward with great force! It drew a beautiful arc, turned around, and bit the lure!!
I wondered if the assistant manager was watching, but when I looked back, she was gone. She's a very free-spirited person.

Because you can see the fish so clearly, you can easily see the moment when the switch is turned on, and the excitement when you catch the fish you were aiming for is even greater.
After a satisfying fishing experience, I'm full of motivation and set my sights on catching the next big thing.

This color is perfect for catching big fish, and I have used it to catch many big fish!
This is also my favorite color and it was once the winning lure in a big game fishing tournament! (Although I wasn't the winner...)

(When I was aiming, my eyes were so bloodshot that it looked bigger, but it was probably less than 40cm lol)
I turned around in surprise, but the assistant manager was not there, apparently on break.
After this, my catch wasn't that great, but the assistant manager returned to fishing and caught a fish with every cast using a Peach Bison Hunt G 1.0g and his specialty Kibipani Cherry Bonbon.
↑↑ I caught so many Cherry Bonbons that the hook was bent in a strange direction.
In the end, between 12:00 and 16:00, I caught 49 fish and the assistant manager caught about 31!!
The great thing about clear water is that even if you don't catch anything, you can clearly see the fish reacting, so it's more satisfying than the number of fish you catch!! I felt like I caught about 70 fish ^^ Even if you don't catch anything, you can still have a conversation with the fish with every cast. To put it mildly, it's the most fun.
There were many times when we caught a lot of fish in the best location, and it was a very satisfying fishing trip ☆
If I had continued writing halfway through, I would have felt that it would have become such an epic work that I would have lost concentration, so I sincerely apologize for the fact that this fishing diary ended up being a bit of a drag!!
