I'm going to the World Championships again this year!

on Nov 01 2025

Good evening everyone, this is the assistant manager!

Well, this year's World Championships are just three weeks away.
We were busy arranging rental cars, hotels, uniforms, and most importantly, gathering information about the pound where the event was to be held!

Those of you who have been supporting me since last year's World Championships may already know what the World Championships are, but I'm sure there are others who are wondering "What is it?", so today (!) I thought I'd write a blog post about how I've decided to go to the World Championships again this year.
Please join us if you'd like.

If you're wondering why t-Route is involved in the World Championships,Last year's blogor,Tournament YouTubeI would be happy if you could also see the following:

So, about this year's World Championships!
This year the tournament will be held in Campli, Italy, a city renowned for being the strongest in European area trout fishing.
The event will be held over two days, November 21st and 22nd, with one official event on the 20th.

Just like last year, 18 countries are scheduled to participate, and the opening ceremony will be a parade!
Last yearCity-wide illuminationSo I thought this year would be a simple one, but it seems the host country is full of enthusiasm again this year.

The Japanese team is the best again this year.
First, there is Yudai Ito, who led the Japanese team as team leader last year.
Anyone who fishes for trout has probably heard of the manufacturer Velvet Arts.
Yudai is also the representative of the manufacturer, and won the Meister award at the Trout King Championship last year. He is the most talked about person overseas, with people wondering how many places he will reach on the podium this year.
I feel very reassured that he will be leading the Japanese team as a leader again this year.

Next up is Fukuda-san from Rodeo Craft!
Mr. Fukuda, a gentleman of gentlemen who loves Spoon and is famous for his charm, turning everyone he meets into his fan one after another, is finally descending on Italy!
In fact, Fukuda is extremely popular in Europe due to his fishing style and personality.
(I was very surprised when I heard the words "FUKUDA MAKI" from a German person.)
There's no doubt that Fukuda's charm will explode in the local area and she will continue to attract even more fans!

The third person is Sugiyama Daigo from TIMON! (Sorry for calling him "kun" without permission. I've watched so many videos that I can't help but call him that...)
Daigo is the youngest person to achieve the rank of Meister, and is an incredible genius who has been named a Meister three times.
Yudai has been saying since last year that he wants to show Daigo's fishing to people in Europe, and now it looks like Europe will finally be shocked.

There's probably no need to mention the fourth person, but it's last year's world champion, Toru Arakawa of Valkein!
He looks so cool when he fishes! And he's strong! So I'm looking forward to seeing Arakawa on the podium again this year.

The reserve competitor is our store manager, who caused a big stir with his drift spin in Europe last year.
For some reason, the manager's performance had been poor since he returned to Japan, and he had lost confidence, but he has finally started to regain his form recently.
I think there's a good chance that all four players will get sick in an unfamiliar environment overseas, so I've been practicing quietly by myself recently, with the feeling that I'll probably end up competing as well.
Good luck, manager!

I'm full of confidence, thinking, "With this team, you can't go wrong!" But actually, I have a lot of worries this time...
First of all, the tournament will be held in a country that is home to the powerful Italian team.
We have received information that the Italian Championships will be held three times this weekend, on November 8th and 9th, at the same pound.
Team Italy was a team that everyone had a hard time with last year.
This year, they are quite a threat as they have a perfect understanding of everything from the size of the fish to the topography of the pond.

Also, neighboring countries are connected by land, and Germany, which came second last year, appears to be traveling once a month.
We are also doing our best to gather information on the release situation, but it seems that the information is best gathered from people on the ground, so this year's tournament is sure to be one to keep an eye on.

The assistant manager feels a little frustrated that all he can do is gather information and secure a hotel close to the captain's meeting.
So for a while now I've been putting all my energy into supporting the players!

First, we requested support from the Japanese Embassy in Italy.
I sent an email without much hope, but I received a warm message of support!

We also created some cheering goods for everyone in Japan who is supporting us!
Last year, I was told that it would be great if we could get some cheering goods, but I didn't have enough time so I gave up on it, but this year I tried my best to make it.
Who made it?Team Japan support keychain.
We created something really cool with the players' names on it.

You can attach it to a bucket or to your keys.
It will be available in stores from November 2nd, and online from 8pm on the same day.
I'm sure the members will be energized every time they see these keychains at the fishing spot, so I hope everyone will carry one and support them!

Also, this is a completely irrelevant story, but I begged my parents to buy me a new iPhone for my birthday!
This means I can stream live from the location (which I would rather outsource and not do myself) and the quality of the YouTube video is perfect.

Now you're all set!
All you have to do is go.

I would be really happy if you all support me again this year.
We look forward to your support of Team Japan 2025.
