Good evening everyone, this is the deputy manager of t-Route!
Now, if you think that if I write a blog post about going to the World Championships, then the next blog post will be "I went to the World Championships," then you're being naive!
The more information there is, the heavier his pen becomes, so the assistant manager takes this opportunity to write a fishing report.
So the other day I went to Asakawa International (affectionately known as Asakuni-san).
The previous fishing trip report was also the manager's solo fishing trip at Asakuni-san, so it's two in a row!
That's because when I moved, Asakuni-san became very close.✨
It can be done in an hour 💕
This time, our assistant manager had been at the fishing spot from morning to night for four days in Italy but had not cast a single time, so we had to go fishing for only half a day even though he had a lot of work piled up and was feeling a bit under the weather, so we were very grateful for Mr. Asakuni's presence.
By the way, the assistant manager is Mr. Asakuni, and it was my first visit in about six months.
We munched on hamburgers at Mos Burger and leisurely arrived at the fishing spot around 10 o'clock.
First, I'll go buy a fishing ticket.
Anyone who has been to Asakuni will nod in agreement until their necks hurt, but the caretaker is incredibly kind!
The whole family, including the mother, father, son, and even the grandson, are all very kind people.
The water is so clear that you can see the movements of lures and fish even without polarized sunglasses.
It's highly recommended for beginners!
Asakuni also holds a tournament for beginners called the Challenge Cup, which shows that beginners are very welcome.
And maybe this isn't a managed fishing pond, but a managed fishing pond and cat cafe.
There are many incredibly well-groomed and friendly cats.
This time too, when I was trying to pick up the net to land the fish, I found a cat sitting inside the net, which was really soothing. (By the way, this happened twice lol)
Before you know it, they're resting in the shadow of the bucket or coming right up to you to snatch the fish you've caught, so their sense of distance from people is all messed up, and it was like heaven for someone like me who doesn't usually get the chance to pet cats.
Well, the introduction always tends to be long, so let's talk about fishing now!
This fishing trip was also intended as a practice for the t-Cup Trucking regional qualifying round to be held in Ashigara CA on December 16th, so I went there with the intention of putting in some serious effort.
I didn't really know what to do with plastics until I spent a day in Italy watching the pros do it, and I'm aware that my plastic skills have improved a lot!
So, first we'll use a spoon to find out what your preferences are for range and color.
Since we're both pitching together, it's great that we can quickly find out what colors we like.✨
Apparently the last time the manager came alone he caught a ton of fish, but on this day the temperature suddenly dropped and it wasn't possible to catch that many.
That would be convenient for us who are here for the match! We throw out various ideas in search of the right answer.
The manager was fishing with some kind of gold and black lure, so I also tried using a Kid Daddy 0.95 Gen-chan Brownie and caught a fish☺
And then there's Jekyll, who has recently been causing a huge movement in the Tsuchiya family!
It was such a hit at the amusement park and in Italy that I bought up a bunch of each size, and when I tried throwing out a few different ones, the Jekyll L 0.6g had the best response.
The manager used his beloved #73 KF, and I used the mustard colored one, and we both caught fish.
However, it seemed like it would be difficult to increase the number of fish caught with spoons, so I switched to crankbait.
The other day, Hara-san told me that he had caught a ton of fish when he used the Wow 33 Hara Origlo Gorgeous Line (prototype) with Sugawa-san in the evening, so I thought I'd give it a try since there was also shade and an inlet, and when I cast a regular Hara Origlo, I got a hit! Catch! Hit! Catch! Hit! Catch!!!
Wow, that's amazing...
I caught a ton of fish.
But there is no assistant manager who will keep throwing it just because it will catch fish!
I even try changing the color and size to see how it reacts! (Growth)
The Haraori Glow is a red glow, but when I tried using a green glow-based 33, I didn't catch any fish at all, so maybe red glow would have been better.
I also chose the Quick HF because it can be used to lure the surface with Red Glow.
This is my first time using it, but I have high hopes as it has a good reputation.
Suddenly caught!
I thought, "Wow!" and continued casting, but I only caught one.
It seems that the quick HF can also be used as a top!
I was happy to become a little closer to him.
After that, I caught one fish each using the Chibi Pani and Fat Mocha Junior.
It's a shame that you didn't like the full-size crank.
Another thing we caught was a ton of dumpling fish!
It's useful when there are a lot of fish and you don't need to reel them in from far away, so maybe?
I thought, but I caught about three fish.✨
It was everyone's favorite Chocolat Oak SR-Low.
The assistant manager somehow prefers SR.
I tried different colors, but the chocolate oak one had the best reaction, so I thought I'd buy a spare one later, but I've forgotten about it...
I'll buy it tomorrow! (I wonder if it's in stock?)
I wondered if Drift Spin would be effective in a slightly tricky situation like this, so I used it here.
I caught one fish with a 1.3 XO Olive and one with a 0.7 Fluorescent Pink.
I learned something new: you can still catch fish even in these conditions!
Since it was a plastic game that day, the manager and I had decided to play a match with 10-minute halves, so I declared war by saying, "Shall we do it now?" and we started the match here.
When I asked, "Is it okay if the loser doesn't get to take a bath at the super public bath on the way home?", I was told, "Please don't let that happen..." so I decided to just pour coffee over it. (What a coward!)
At the start, I tried casting with the Hara Origlo, which I had caught so many fish with just now, but I didn't catch a single one💦
The situation is constantly changing...
Before the match started, I had no idea what the pattern was, so I decided to try a drift spin just to catch one fish.
I caught a fish using Jekyll mustard, so I thought the color might be good and threw in a 1.3 mustard, and caught one here!
It's a precious one!
The store manager is trying his hand at the minnow that had been getting a good response earlier, but although the fish are eating it, he is having a hard time catching it.
The assistant manager also tried using micro spoons, but was unable to catch any more, and had to switch fishing spots after catching only one fish (it was such a pain that I tried to skip it, but he said "let's not do it," so I reluctantly...)
The place I was switching to was closer to the inlet, so I thought it was the same quick fish I caught earlier! I attached my lure and was about to head to my fishing spot when I saw a cat!!! A cat was sitting right there in my fishing spot!!!
Huh? What should I do in this situation? I get anxious.
I don't want the cat to stop coming, so I cast while straddling it.
This test tested our mental strength to withstand accidents.
He went to all that trouble to throw a quick pitch, but it didn't work either! What?
So next up is the dumpling fish.
Add another one here and win 2-0!✨
I had been watching the games from behind for four days and had an incredible desire to win, so I was really happy to have won!
From there, I enjoyed fishing by tuning my eyes and throwing my favorite lures.
Around 1 o'clock we had a ton of fun catching fireflies on the bottom of Satan!
It was now 2 o'clock and my body was cold, so I had to go to a super bathhouse, so I called it a day.
Wow, that was fun.
So, my advice to everyone is that Asakuni is often in the shade during the winter, so make sure you dress warmly! I ended up wearing light clothing because I didn't need a jacket in Tokyo until the day before, so I ended up feeling a bit cold at the end.
As long as you dress properly, there's no problem, so please make sure to dress warmly so you can enjoy the day to the fullest.
So, now that I've warmed up with my fishing trip report, I'd like to write about my trip to Italy next!
Everyone, I went to the World Championships, see you again in Part 1!
Well then👍
