Staff Fishing Report Vol.20 2025.7.31 Uratanzawa Stream Fishing Spot
Good evening everyone.
I am the assistant manager of t-Route.
Well, today I went to Uratanzawa mountain stream fishing spot, so as usual I'll write up my fishing report!
Some of you may be thinking, "Just like always..."
That's right.
I'm famous for being slow to write my fishing diary, but this time I decided to skip a year and two months lol
During that time, we went to the World Championships and moved to a new store, but the strong-hearted assistant manager decided to ignore all of that and write about his fishing trips.
In fact, today's fishing trip was the first time in quite a while for the store manager and assistant manager.
I moved house in May and moved store in July, so it was probably the busiest three months of my life, and the only time I went fishing was when I was at t-Cup...
I felt that if I continued like this I would be disqualified as a fishing tackle shop owner, and that my hands would start shaking if I didn't hear the drag sound any longer, so today I finally went on my first private fishing trip in three months.
Actually, there was another reason why I had become less keen on going fishing.
This is why the t-Cup in June turned out to be an extremely hot day.
It's really really really hot now...
The assistant manager doesn't like the heat, so even when the manager said, "You can go fishing now!", he was scared and couldn't take the first step.
So today I went fishing with the sub-theme of "Is it possible to fish in the middle of summer if I take all the necessary precautions?"
The equipment I brought for today is as follows:
①Burtle's latest air-conditioned clothing
⇒I was advised that having an air-conditioned suit would make all the difference, so I asked X, "Which is the best air-conditioned suit?" and I got one.
② Cool-to-the-touch long-sleeved turtleneck innerwear
I bought something for golf.
3. A spray that cools the area when sprayed on fabric.
④Cooling towel for the neck
5. Breathable pants that don't stick to your skin
⑥ Sneakers so you don't have to worry about direct sunlight
Yes, that's perfect.
Furthermore, I had received advance information that it hadn't been that hot in Uratanzawa recently, so I decided it was time to take action and left the house.
As usual, we left after the kids had gone to nursery school and after-school care, so we arrived at Uratanzawa at 11am.
I was so hungry for fishing that I couldn't wait even an hour for the afternoon ticket season to start, so I bought a one-day ticket and started fishing.
But here's where the problem arises.
Unfortunately, the fan and battery in the assistant manager's air-conditioned suit were not compatible models and could not be used (tears).
There was no other choice, so the assistant manager went with the above equipment minus 1, while the manager went with the above equipment.
At Uratanzawa, there is a lot of shade on the other side of the bridge from the reception, but we were afraid of the heat so we mainly fished in the shade today.
Before I talk about my battle with the fish, I'll first write about my battle with the heat.
We fished from 11am to 4pm during the day and it was a breeze!!!
Both the sweaty manager, who was wearing an air-conditioned suit, and the assistant manager, who wasn't, were able to finish the day feeling a little sweaty.
Everyone!!! Even in the middle of summer!!! You can go fishing!!!
I'm glad to share the good news!
If you're hesitant to go fishing in this heat, please take a look at this.
By the way, the store manager, who was wearing an air-conditioned suit, seemed really relaxed!
The assistant manager was sweating a little as he walked around in the sun.
Now, enough about the ruthless battle against the heat, let's talk about fishing.
We started fishing on the right side just after crossing the bridge.
I first tried Hunt Grande 1.3g silver UV to see what the situation was like.
The store manager was searching with an M2 0.6g Golpele.
It's so hot that it makes you want to throw lightly and be timid, which is not good.
As usual, there were a lot of fish in Uratanzawa's bait, so I thought there was no need to reel them in and decided to go for a quick solution.
The manager caught two right away, but I didn't get any at all...
I didn't even get a chase.
From there, I tried various things, such as raising the silhouette to gravity 1.35, or lowering it to Shahs fe 0.6g.
I caught a ton of Shars FE!
Recently, we've been catching a ton of original colored ripe vananas that we released a long time ago in Shas FE, so the manager and I have been fighting every day over the spares, and today we caught an incredible number of these!

We caught so many fish with each cast that the store manager even said, "I'm starting to get bad at fishing, so I'll try throwing something else."
If you've bought one but haven't used it yet, I'd definitely recommend trying it out the next time you go fishing.
By the way, I was starting to feel unsure about the spare ones, so last week I asked Saulive to re-produce them.✨
I'm the type of person who likes to keep throwing the same thing as long as I'm catching fish, but as mentioned above, I'm starting to feel unsure about my spares and I'm afraid of losing them, so I switched to trying out a variety of different things.
First, I threw a 0.9g Hunt in the same ripe Vanana color, and caught three fish with it as well.
But I still think Shas FE is better.
On the other hand, the store manager tried throwing a different color of Shaas FE, Yamakuro, but this received less of a response than the Ripe Vanana.
But for some reason, big fish react!
After catching a few fish, I hooked a big one of about 40cm, but after a fierce battle it was cut in vain... (It's OK as I have plenty of spares)
I tried throwing crankbaits and other lures here, but I didn't catch many in succession.
If I had to say, Chibi Pani SR's Haraori Glow was the one that got the most use out of its mouth.

Before I knew it, it was time for lunch, so I had some soba noodles and cold Chinese noodles in the rest area while the ice packs were still working.
There, by chance, I bumped into a heavy user of our store (sorry!)!
When asked about the catch, it seems that Shars fe and Chibi Pani SR were the best.
After getting excited and saying, "I knew it!", we talked about our mutual love for Uratanzawa, and finally, we vowed to hold an event at Uratanzawa in the fall, before heading off to the afternoon battle.
We usually spend the whole day fishing near the reception desk, but today we couldn't forget the density of fish we saw downstream when we arrived, so we decided to head downstream.
After going down about four sections, I decided to try casting a fully ripe vanana from Shas FE without getting bored, and caught another fish.
However, I was afraid of losing it, so I changed lures (as usual).
I'll try throwing various lures, such as the newly purchased Teach and Flare, to see how they feel.
Then, a discharge truck appeared right in front of us!
Yes! So the manager will be playing the Dona 3.0g Recital, and I'll be playing the Vanna 1.7g Recital, so I'll be aiming for the recital.
However, we decided to release each other and decorate...
The store manager had caught two fish by casting the same lure before the fish were released, so why...?
I'll use the excuse that I was too concerned about the direction I was throwing the ball because some boys were there on summer vacation.
Even after reducing the weight and silhouette, I wasn't catching many fish with the spoon, so I thought I'd switch to a crank, and when I threw the Wow 37, I got a good response!
You can catch bass using Uguisu Mochi, Sakura Mochi, Haraori Glow, and Haraori.
HF had a better response.
The wow party was a lot of fun, but when I looked downstream there was an area with no one in it at all!
Moreover, this is probably the area full of fish that we saw when we entered.
I moved immediately.
In the end, I searched for the best spot with the most fish and the fewest people, and went all the way to the lowest point downstream.
This place was amazing...
The store manager catches a lot of fish using a 2.8g Liberty CUME.
What a paradise...
The fish were so energetic that no matter what I cast I was able to catch a decent amount, which was a lot of fun.
What's more, there are large trout in the stream in this area.
The store manager had been busy preparing cooler bags and ice packs since this morning, and his eyes were shining as he brought a Disprout landing net because it was large.
The two of us try hard from both the right and left to get the lure past the trout.
I used the Shars fe, which was the lure I caught the most today, and the manager used the Babel WZ 0.55g Route 21, which he uses when targeting big fish, and we both cast it tenaciously.
As a result, 15 minutes later the manager made me speak!!!
amazing!!
He caught it beautifully with the Infinity 0.2!!
It's a salmon party!!!
When I opened the belly at the butchering area to clean it and take it home, I was greeted with a beautiful pink color.
I was happy.

We caught a number of fish today, including some big ones (around 40cm).Even though it was midsummer, it wasn't too hot, and the negative ions were soothing, so we headed home muttering out loud, "That was fun!"
Fishing is fun.
I would like to hold an event in the fall where we can all get together and go fishing while eating delicious food. The chances of this happening are about 40% but if it does happen, please do come along.
Thank you for reading this long article.
I think I'll go to bed early tonight so I can dream about eating aging salmon.
See you in the next blog 👍
