極小シルエット
スプーンにスレた魚でも口を使いやすい、ひと口サイズのシルエット。
フラッシング効果
商品名の「フラッシュ」の通り、ボディのサイド面で光を効率よく反射し、遠くの魚や低活性の魚にアピールします。
水平シミーフォール
揺れながら沈む（シミーフォール）アクションを得意とし、巻いている時だけでなく「止めた瞬間」や「フォール中」にもバイトを誘発します。
使いどころ
シンキングペンシル（シンペン）はリップがないため、引き抵抗が少なく、浮き上がりやすいという性質があります。

基本的な使い方
ただ巻き（デッドスロー）
まずはこれ。お尻をわずかに振るか振らないかの低速で巻くと、スレたトラウトが思わず追尾してきます。
ストップ＆フォール
数回巻いてからピタッと止める。沈む際のフラッシングでリアクションバイトを誘います。
シェイキングリトリーブ
竿先を細かく揺らしながら巻くことで、ボディをキラキラと明滅させ、魚の視覚を刺激します。
エリアトラウトでは「マジックジャーク」や「ボトムバンプ」が主流ですが、こうした「動かないけれど光る」シンペンは、放流後のセカンド・サード以降や、真昼の渋い時間帯の切り札になるでしょう。
