マイクロクランク、マジックジャーク等、小型プラグの台頭著しいエリアトラウトシーンにおいてほんの僅かな違いが釣果に大きく左右するという場面も多くなってきました。小型プラグの性能を最大限に引き出すための第一歩としてトゥルーチューニングを避けて通ることは出来ません。しかしながらプライヤーや一般的なアイチューナーでは超が付くほどの繊細さが求められるエリアトラウト用小型プラグのトゥルーチューニングには不向きだったのも事実です。そこでスミスでは小型プラグのアイリングの線径に合わせてクリアランスを無くし、より繊細なトゥルーチューニングを実現する小型プラグ専用アイチューナーを完成させました。

コンパクトなので、リリーサーをつけているリングに一括りにして直ぐにその場でチューンができるようにしています。大会などその場で緊急的に対応ができてありがたいです。
プラグのアイでも柔らかめなタイプはコレ一つで大丈夫です。アイが硬めのタイプは微調整しか出来ないので、大きく動かす際は一体成形の方として使い分けています。 -

必須になります。
たまにまっすぐ泳がないルアーがあったりするのでそれをこの道具で調節してまっすぐに出来ます。
色々出てますが、入手もしやすく使いやすいこれがベストだと思います。

ちょっと前までT2のアイチューンをペンチでやってましたが、なかなか定まらず全然釣りできないので買いました。早く買えばよかった……。T2、GJ、ディープクラピーは難なくできました。エリアのルアーだったらなんでもできるんじゃないかな？
