クラピーの遺伝子を受け継ぎながら、個性をしっかりと表現。開発着手以来、足掛け３年に渡る紆余曲折の末についに発売にこぎ着けたマイクロクラピー。満を持して登場するのは水面およびその直下（最大潜行レンジは約15cm）を守備範囲とするSRと潜行深度1.5mまでを担うDRの2機種。開発にここまで時間をかけた理由は、通常のクラピーとどう違うのか、という部分。ただ小さいだけで釣れ方も変わらないのでは存在する理由が無いし、かと言って従来のクラピーとかけ離れたものになってはマイクロクラピーを名乗る資格が無い。クラピーの遺伝子を受け継ぎながら、マイクロクラピーという個性をしっかりと表現できるものにこだわったのだ。
