The manager and assistant manager of t-Route went fishing again today🎣

Some of you may be thinking, "Why don't you get a job instead of just fishing every day?"
Today I had a meeting and a photo shoot, so it was work.
I have done nothing wrong, but I would like to apologise to the store clerk Shimizu-kun in my heart for making him work alone on a busy Wednesday after the holidays.

Today is a meeting, but next Tuesday is coming up.t-Cup, and even 12/5t-Cup regional qualifying roundI headed there secretly hoping that it would be a good opportunity to practice my skills as well.
(This time, only the store manager will be participating.)

When I arrived, I saw about four people participating in the t-Cup and some of Sugawara's regulars fishing in the lowest pond, which was the tournament venue.
When I asked him how it was while saying hello, he replied, "You can catch a ton of fish. It's not good for practice."
Following on from Uratanzawa-san yesterday, it looks like we'll be catching a lot of fish🤤
The pond was much clearer than the last time I was there, and when I borrowed the manager's polarized sunglasses, I was able to see all the way to the bottom!
It's great to see the fish's reaction firsthand.

I reeled it in a little below the surface and immediately caught one.
It looks like it's going to be a fun fishing trip today 🎶
From there I cast a few times, hoping to catch a second or third fish, but strangely the bites stopped...

I continued to cast the other Grande 1.0g original colors that I had good luck with yesterday, but I couldn't catch anything.

Looking next to me, the store manager was not catching any fish either.
I think we each caught about two fish within the first 30 minutes.

However, although there are still hits, the catch rate is clearly lower than that of our neighbors.

The store manager is a relatively unproud person, so he asks detailed questions about fishing techniques, such as "What rod and reel are you using, what line are you using, how do you hook the fish?" and then copies everything exactly.
(I was even muttering to myself that I might buy that rod, which was scary.)
This clearly increased the catch rate!

Meanwhile, I, standing next to him, catch a few fish with a Nyoro rod before wandering off again.
Well, I couldn't catch anything.

Just as I was starting to feel hungry, someone asked, "Shall we go for lunch?" and it was lunchtime.
Here, Master Hara and Mr. Ikeya from Forest joined us.

When the two of them asked, "How is it going?" the regulars replied, "We're catching a lot of fish."
I couldn't agree more and just muttered to myself, "Is that so? I never catch anything at all."

Again, it's just a consolation... It's all about my skill... I thought to myself feeling self-deprecating, and after lunch I returned to the fishing spot.

Perhaps because I was constantly complaining about not catching anything, a regular customer who was fishing near the inlet seemed to feel awkward and quietly left my spot empty.

As I have often written in my fishing reports, I really hate minnows.
I hate jerking more than I hate getting up early.
That was it!!

From there, we were able to catch fish one after another, and Master Hara praised us saying, "You're catching fish!" (Master is good at giving compliments!)

The manager tries to compete with me using Holy Gold, but I still catch more fish!
Even when we switched between our tackles, I caught more fish than them!
The assistant manager is in full bloom!!!

I heard that the trick is to let it dive nicely and then let it surface naturally, and although I'm not sure if I was able to put it into practice, I caught another fish right after hearing about it!

From there, there were many good fishermen there, so we started school time, where they listened to my fishing worries and taught me how to use lures that I'm not good at, and I decided to ignore the catch for the time being.

In particular, I threw out a lot of the original colors that will be released soon, and there were some incredible ones, so I'll report on them later!

Today's learning
　・It's good to imitate those around you without being stubborn.
　・If you are not catching any fish, consider moving to another location.
　・You should try anything without feeling too bad about it.
　Minnows are fun.

I know I said it was tough, but the conditions were such that if you thought carefully and fished well you could catch something, so it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot!
It was also a day when we realized how low our level was and felt a little disheartened.
I will try my best to become better and better.
